A woman was hit over the head with wooden posts in an attempted robbery.
43-year-old walked along Inverleith row in Edinburgh when he passed a man who was rooting through garbage outside the Goldenacre Pharamacy. As he refused South Trinity Road, people are coming on the back and hit him in the head.
He demanded that he hand over his bag but the woman scream and attracted the attention of the members of the public who came to help. People then ran from the Darnell Street towards the road just before 6 Wardie on Tuesday.
He is described as white, in his mid-30s to early 40s, 5 ft 8ins high with the media to build up fat and short black hair greying. He is clean-shaven and wearing a dark jacket, jeans, trainers and dark-rimmed glasses.
