Today is America Recycles Day

Today, the 15th of November, is the 14th day of the annual America Recycles. It acknowledged the progress made in the State and the recycling of waste not to do the job.

The u.s. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that Americans generate 250 million tons of municipal waste in 2010, which is about 34 per cent is recycled or composted.

"The conservation of our natural resources is an important part of ensuring strong economic and environmental future," Mathy Stanislaus, assistant administrator for EPA'S Office of solid waste and emergency response, said in a statement. "A sustainable Approach to managing materials will maximize the use, reuse, and recycling of valuable resources that provide economic and environmental benefits."

Sermon AS defining enough garbage each day to fill in 50,000 garbage trucks with 18,000 pounds of garbage in each. By reducing, reusing, and recycling, AS it can return to the use of resources, rather than dispose of them. For example, a mobile phone recycling saves enough energy to power a laptop for hours 44.

In addition, adopt management practices for sustainable materials can help minimize waste and help the country save energy. Examine the life cycle of materials and products to identify ways to consume less natural resources, reducing waste going to landfills, and creating economic opportunities.
